Basic Things about Microsoft Excel

When You look at Microsoft Excel all that you see is Wide area of your screen is covered by small boxes, These are Called Cell.

The Top Label on Each grid labelled from A to XFD are called Column.

In Microsoft Excel you will have 1048576 Rows for Each Column.

There's a small tab at the bottom Named as Sheet 1 , Sheet 2 , Sheet 3 every sheet has the same number of rows and columns.



And when we combine these rows and columns and sheets its not called Excel any more its called Work-book.

What can we do with this workbook ?

  • Reports
  • Financial Analysis
  • ledger
  • And many things beyond you imagination.
